We have recently have moved locations and couldn’t be happier!
The new location is just two blocks south of our old location.

Last month we did updo’s for an event at the Rancho Bernardo Inn hosted by Exquisite Weddings Magazine.
The event was for the brides of 2011 to come out and see what local businesses had to offer for their weddings. Exquisite Weddings had stations for dresses, caterers, jewelry, photographers, etc…
Our job was to style the models’ hair.

We’ve worked events and weddings with Ann from Flirt Makeup in the past and just love her and her work.
I just loved how the girls’ hair turned out. We tried to make each style as different and unique as the dresses were.
Exquisite Weddings put on an incredible event. We were so happy to be a part of it.
Oh, and if you loved the hair accessories that we used in the models’ hair you can find them at The Dainty Woods!
and we may or may not of taken advantage of the photo booth! Ha

one for the struggle, one for the lasting peace
A few weeks back I did a photo-shoot with a few friends for a great company called ItzeLuna. They sell AMAZING hand made Mexican artisan tote bags, jewelry, and hair accessories.
What’s super sweet about them is that they provide a marketplace for Mexican artists to showcase their talents while giving back to their communities.
Naturally, i feel in love with their stuff. Especially their hair pieces! They can dress up even the simplest of hair styles.

birds of a feather flock together
We took a few hints from a pretty cool guy….
and we are now offering featherlocks at the salon!
The moment they finally came in the mail we wasted no time putting them in.
Here’s a few pictures of us with them in.
They can be as subtle or funky as you want them and take only a few minutes to put in. And they’re the perfect hair accessory for this perfect almost summer-like weather we’re having!
